Employee Referral Program

A word about successful employee referral programs; set up referral programs that focus on high-impact and hard-to-fill roles rather than all positions or roles that can be filled via normal resources.  Promote referrers and their new hires when the opening is filled.  To protect the integrity of the program set someone in place to oversee the referral policies; over-zealous employees may pump the company ATS with candidates that they find via social media.  Make sure the referrer and the candidate do indeed know one another.  Payments for referrals can be standardized and customized.
